Ok ahhhh breath, need to slow things down....holidays are overs, biggs birthday is over, little's birthday over.....
Jacob Update.....My little man! He is really enjoying T-ball, he gets very excited to go to practice and really seems to like it! He is learning how to hit, field the ball "ready position" and learning the bases. He also is really taking a liking to ice skating!! We just signed up for our second session! They started in a class called "Snow Plow Sam 1" and now have moved into "Snow Plow Sam 2" Jacob can really move on the ice and he is very proud of himself, especially when he passes the other kids (including his sister). He also loves gymnastics so of course I signed them up for yet another session at Rockaway Gymnastics! It is really great for them! The exercise, learning coordination and balance. They both have a blast there!
Jacob knows how to count backwards from 20 down to 1, he knows his phone #, address and all the other stuff like alphabet, colors and shapes.
Jacob loves playing with his Ipad, seems to enjoy school and is looking forward to starting camp! He is a great breakfast eater. He loves pancakes and waffles and sometime mommy even lets him have Fruit Loops cereal which he loves!!! His favorite treat is fruit snacks! I try to keep them down to a minimum because the dentist is NOT a fan of fruit snacks. His choice of drink would be water, which is fine by me!
Jacob loves his Papa and spending time with him! He likes to say goodnight to him and tell him to "drive carefully" "I love you" "don't fall off the bed!" At home he enjoys playing with his matchbox cars and he will tell you that he has "a hundred thousand cars"......"more than the store" And I think he is correct!
Danica Update....Our princess!!! When Danica introduces herself she will say "I am Princess Danica" and she certainly is!!! Such a sweet, gentle and caring little girl! I could not be more proud of her! I can see her maternal instinct, it is truly amazing. The other morning I watched her get a tissue and gently wipe her baby sister's runny nose! All on her own! Also the other day I was holding my cell phone with my mouth (ran out of hands at that moment) and my little girl says..."momma, I will hold that for you" and took my phone while I was able to get a free hand. And patience! Every morning she sits patiently while I comb through her hair....this process usually takes 10-15 minutes!
I wouldn't say Danica loves T-ball, she seems to tolerate it but I am hoping that next year she will be more into to. She is also the youngest on the team while the other girls are all in Kindergarten and 6 years old, this age difference is extreme at this age. She seems to like ice skating more and is really learning the basic skills. Gymnastics class and her Dance class seem to be her favorite activities. She knows how to do a back bend, she can also do a forward roll and EVEN a cartwheel!!! She is such a girlie girl!
For breakfast our princes likes Cheerios with milk, her drink of choice would be a smoothie, but sometimes settles for orange or apple juice. Danica's favorite snack would be a little bag of potato chips...(just like momma)
At home Danica's favorite activities would be to color, use her glue stick and stickers and make projects. She loves to play house and play dolls....especially when she playing with Papa. She likes to sit on the stairs and pretend she is on a bus and going on vacation. Incredible imagination!
