We took Jacob and Danica for their one year doctor appointment. Danica's weight is 28lbs and Jacob is 22lbs 4oz. The doctor gave them a booster shot and a chicken pox shot and pricked their finger for an iron check. Jacob was very brave this time but Danica was not a happy baby, she refused to get on the examining table!!! Daddy had to hold her and get on the scale to get her weight....fun fun fun!!!
They are allowed to eat anything except.....peanuts, honey and seafood. Today we are starting WHOLE MILK!!! YAY!!!!! We start adding one ounce of milk to their bottle today and two ounces tomorrow and so on until they are weaned off of formula, this will only take a week!!!! What a big $ savings this is going to be!!!
Danica is now standing alone without holding on to anything, she gets so excited and screams with joy. She looks like she is ready to start walking soon. When she crawls...don't blink or get in her way because she is FAST! She loves music and dances when she hears it. She still has two teeth on the bottom and two on the top. Danica is starting to become more ticklish and knows a lot of words......if you ask her to touch her nose or touch her hair, she does it!!!
Jacob is now standing too!! He still needs to hold on to something to keep his balance and he is crawling great!!! He also loves music and bops when he hears it! He still has two teeth on the bottom and just one on top! Jacob is still very sweet and very gentle....when I ask him to touch mommy's nose he does it very gently. Laughs a lot and is very ticklish!!! When I try to cut his toenails.....he laughs and giggles!
This age is great!! They are a lot of fun!!! And they are learning new things every single day!!!
Very exciting news is that we decided next February we are all going to Disney. The babies will be two years and one month old.....
