1st Ice Skating Lesson!

Jacob and Danica have started their ice skating lessons! They did so well for their first time on the ice without mommy!!!! Miss Kim their instructor was very nice, they teach them with the help of orange cones which is very different from when mommy had her lessons at Mennen Arena!

It is a little difficult to take vidoes and pictures while we are all on the ice, but I tried.

2nd time ice skating with mommy

Here are a few pictures of Jacob & Danica at the ice skating rink. Watching the men clean the ice with a big machine, renting their skates.....Today was their second time skating with mommy and they did better than the first time.

Jacob really is taking to skating, Danica is still a little unsure. We signed them up for ice skating lessons!!! They will start 2/27/12 and will continue every Monday for 8 weeks, the class is 1/2 hour long. I am very excited for them to learn to skate like I did when I was a little girl.

Daddy ordered them their own ice skates that should be coming any day now, just in time for their first lesson!!!

Mennan Arena

Took Jacob and Danica for their very first time ice skating this morning. Mennan Arena had a "free skate". Unfortunately I couldn't really take any pictures because I needed at least 4 hands and this mommy only has 2!

Jacob did very well. Once he realized he wasn't going to get hurt, he had a lot of confidence and was able to skate/walk. But he did spend a lot of time on his back! Thank g-d I brought bike helmets!!!

Danica was a little more frightened about falling. I had to hold her underneath her arms to help her feel more confident. She did better toward the end and even wants to go back again!!!

Thank you to Meemah & Papa for watching the babies so I was able to take the biggs ice skating! I really appreciate it!

Getting things done!

We have been looking at new schools for Danica and Jacob for this up coming September. We have also been looking into a new camp for this Summer, and lastly been looking for a nice family summer vacation spot for a weeks vacation!

After much searching I am so happy and excited that we have accomplished all three tasks!!!

Jacob and Danica will be attending The Chabad Early Learning Center this coming up September!!! I am looking forward to their Montessori Method of teaching as well as learning more of the Jewish religion. They will be going for a longer day 9:00-3:00 instead of 9-1.

They will also be attending White Meadow Lake Summer Camp, which I also attended as a little girl!!! I am happy they will be taking swimming lessons, arts & crafts, hiking and all the great summer activities that Camp White Meadow Lake has to offer.

And finally we are taking a family vacation to Wild wood Crest and renting out a really nice town home/condo! This places look amazing, short walking distance to the beach and pool!
